Mild Heart Attack Symptoms

Mild heart attack symptoms are something you need to recognize.  The signs may be so mild and “normal” that you might ignore them.  Don’t.  While it’s said that ignorance is bliss, in this case, ignorance can be deadly.

Let’s take a look at some of the signs and symptoms of a mild heart attack.

Female Heart Attack

A mild female heart attack symptom that tends to be ignored is this:  a feeling of acid indigestion that doesn’t go away when you take an antacid.  These days, indigestion is common, what with eating on the run and hectic schedules.  But when is indigestion not just acid reflux or eating too much at a meal?

You should especially take notice of this if you normally don’t suffer from indigestion.

Some other mild heart attack symptoms you should not ignore  include:

  • Chest pain following (or accompanying) emotional stress.  You know, like a bad day at the office or a fight with your significant other.
  • Getting unusually out of breath.  For example, if you used to be able to take a walk around the block with no problem and now you get out of breath during that walk.
  • Chest pain during physical exercise (which includes that walk around the block) and gets less or disappears when you rest.

All of these can be mild female heart attack symptoms.

Check With Your Doctor

Now having any of these signs and symptoms doesn’t automatically mean it’s a mild heart attack.  Sometimes, for example, you might get out-of-breath because you have a cold or mild case of the flu.  Or you really could be suffering from indigestion from that rich dinner you ate!

However, any of these symptoms are cause to make an appointment with your doctor.  Only testing can show if it’s really a heart attack, or if you are seriously at risk for a heart attack.  Prevention and early treatment are ways to stay alive!

Mild Heart Attack Symptoms – Summary

In summary, some mild heart attack symptoms you don’t want to shrug off are getting unusually out of breath, any kind of chest pain or a feeling of acid indigestion that isn’t helped by antacids.

Women’s heart disease is something that for the most part can be prevented.  While some of the causes of coronary heart disease can’t be controlled (like heredity and age), most can.

Knowledge is power, when it comes to mild heart attack symptoms and signs.  If you or someone you know is complaining about any of these signs, it’s time to get to the doctor before the heart damage becomes severe!
